Terms of Sale (Including Auctions)
These are the Terms of Sale of 100 Knives Pty Ltd trading as 100 Knives (ABN 14 961 644 297) (“100 Knives”, “we”, “us”) on our website located at www.100knives.com
These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made through the Website, including both direct purchases and auction purchases. They should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
By purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Sale.
We take care to ensure our Website is accurate and up to date. However, errors may occur (for example, pricing or availability errors).
No agreement is formed until we accept your order and confirm it. If an error affects your order, we may cancel or amend it and will contact you to discuss options, including a refund where applicable.
We offer products through:
a) Direct Purchase (fixed price); and
b) Auction.
These Terms apply to both, unless otherwise stated. Additional terms apply to auctions (see Section 6).
All of our products are handmade. Variations in materials, finish, and appearance are part of their nature and are not considered defects.
Customers may choose to register their product with us after purchase. Product registration is optional and allows us to contact you if necessary in relation to your product, including for updates, care information, or safety-related notices.
All prices are set in Australian Dollars (AUD).
For direct purchase items, we may display prices in your local currency using third-party tools (including Monto), which use real-time or near real-time foreign exchange rates.
These local currency prices are indicative only and may fluctuate based on exchange rates at the time of purchase. The final amount charged may vary depending on exchange rates and your payment provider.
All transactions are processed in AUD.
We may update pricing at any time by publishing updated prices on the Website.
You agree to pay the purchase price in full, including any applicable shipping costs.
We accept payment via third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal. By using these services, you agree to their terms.
Payment must be received in cleared funds before dispatch.
For auction purchases, payment must be completed within the timeframe set out in Section 6.
If payment fails, is declined, or is reversed, you are responsible for any associated costs incurred by us.
We may cancel or suspend any order where payment is not completed.
a) Bids as Binding Offers
By placing a bid, you are making a legally binding offer to purchase the item at that price.
b) Winning Bid
The highest bid at the close of the auction is the winning bid. The winning bidder is required to complete the purchase.
c) No Bid Retraction
Bids cannot be withdrawn once placed, except at our sole discretion.
d) Auction Timing
Auctions run for a specified period. We reserve the right to extend, pause, or cancel an auction at any time, including in cases of technical issues or misuse.
e) Payment Timeframe
Winning bidders must complete payment within 24 hours of the auction ending, unless otherwise stated.

We use Australia Post to send orders within Australia and internationally.
All items are packaged carefully to ensure they arrive safely. If you have specific shipping requirements, please contact us prior to placing your order.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
International orders are charged a flat shipping fee, which includes tracking. Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
For orders shipped to the United States, applicable import tariffs (including a 10% tariff where required) may be collected at checkout via third-party providers such as Zonos and Australia Post.
While we take care to ensure shipping costs are calculated correctly, errors may occur. If this happens, we will contact you before processing your order to discuss available options.
We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 2–3 business days of receiving cleared payment.
Dispatch times may vary depending on order volume or specific packaging requirements.
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an Australia Post tracking number.

We are not responsible for failed delivery due to incorrect or incomplete address details. Additional shipping fees may apply where orders are returned.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control. We may delay or cancel orders where necessary.
Except as required under Australian Consumer Law:
If goods are faulty or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a remedy.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to remedies for major failures and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

All intellectual property on the Website remains our property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
100 Knives acknowledges the Gadigal and Wangal peoples as traditional owners of the land the Inner West Sydney resides. We recognise their connection to land, wind, water and community and pay respects to elders, past, present and emerging.
