Forged from a combination of straight and W's layers, twisted and then forged to shape to follow the profile of the blade. The big, single Damascus pattern gives this WAYO a bold, flowing character, with the W layers providing plenty of pattern detail. An aggressive S-grind contributes to a light, nimble feel. A cast bronze bolster cap with a fine pattern is paired with heavily spalted London Plane, whose twisted grain is nicely matched to the movement of the steel.
