One of only a few mosaic Damascus WAYOs in the first half of the 100, this blade features a pattern with the flowing forms of a Betta fish in full display, although it could just as easily be read as reflections of lotus leaves or hanging flowers. The convex grind is thin behind the edge, with the blade being 4.3mm at the spine and a full distal taper. A cast bronze bolster cap with a fine water texture continues the aquatic theme, paired with a wavy-grained Cocobolo handle. The blade, bolster and handle all carry variations of the same idea, moving between fish, flowers and water depending on how you look at it.
